About Us

Meet Our Team

At Bright Skies Counseling and Consultation, our goal is to create an environment that is positive, supportive, safe and non-judgemental.  We have a great respect for all people and strive to understand each person's circumstances on an individual basis.

When you seek counseling with Bright Skies, we start with an assessment of not just your current struggles, but the history that has contributed to those struggles, as well your innate strengths that can be used, or developed, to help you resolve them.   The length of time you spend in therapy varies depending on the issues you are struggling with, as well as the progress you make during and in between each session.  We will help you develop a treatment plan and set goals to improve your well-being, and then we will measure progress towards accomplishing those goals on a regular basis.

We utilize research driven interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Counseling, all with a client centered and strengths based perspective.
